I ordered six of these bottles with the hopes that they would live up to the glowing reviews. We noticed that our daughter was choking and coughing every time we used one of the ilo bottles. We finally realized it was the rate of flow from the nipple that was causing her to choke -- despite using a Stage 1 nipple the milk would literally squirt out of the bottle with force when turned upside down. We tested all of our nipples and this happened with 5/6. Super disappointed as I really wanted like these bottles.
My son was born 12/4/18 at 36 weeks and weighed 5lbs 13oz. At first the hospital didn't want him having a paci due to him being a preemie. They said it could cause nipple confusion (he's breastfed) and could cause problems with his suck/swallow/breathing reflex due to his gestation. We ended up having to give him a paci but the hospital ones were too big for his face and he constantly spit it out. I tried this one and he took to it right away. He has not had any nipple confusion and it actually helped his suck reflex. They stay in his mouth and are just the right size. I highly recommend these pacifiers. MiMi is even buying him some for her house.
I was using a Greco traveling bassinet, but didn't really like the design. When I got this is the mail I was completely blown away! It has three layers of foam designed to keep baby cool, and help to prevent sids. The slopes on the side are very gentle and the perfect angle so they aren't oothing babys face. The carrying handle on the side is perfect and it's firm in the right places but still a very comfortable cushion for baby. I can't get over how nice this is. The other traveling bassinets and Moses baskets are hard, and have thin prison like little mattresses with no thought behind the design. The Baby Lounger looks real simple in the pic, like I get that, but it's got an incredible design based on babys comfort and safety. The layers of foam are designed for comfort, safely sleeping, air flow and preventing overheating. I've never seen a baby product like it. We all know how it is to pick the baby out of something and they're covered in sweat because no one cares to make something that isn't hard plastic covered in a centimeter thick windbreaker from the 90s covering. Buy this for your babies seriously.
I got this product for my girls to drink their milk in the morning and loved it so much that I ordered another set for each to use for drinks! It's great to carry around and it's really spill proof!
Dr. Brown's bottles just weren't cutting it for us. My daughter still had so much gas and had such a hard time burping! When I looked further into other bottles that help with gas and colic I was super excited when I found out ilo made bottles that help with that. The ilo brand pacifier is the only one my baby would take, so I figured we might have better luck with the same brand bottle. She latched onto these right away with no problems (which was an issue with our previous bottles) and she doesn't have gas issues anymore after eating! She still has burps but passes them easily. I love the wide base on the nipple of their bottles, and also love how there aren't a ton of parts to clean like with other anti-colic bottles! A++ you guys nailed it!
