Straw Cup - Buccaneers
I've only used this for my baby's naps when I'm not near his crib or when I have stuff to do around the house. He sleeps great in this. It's lightweight and breathable. I like that I don't have to worry about my son rolling out if this. I really like that it has mesh pockets to store accessories or a couple of diapers and some wipes. I have nothing to compare it with. I will be recommending this to my friends and family.
My baby prefers laying down versus sitting in his rocker so I was really excited to try this out. The baby lounger was bigger than I expected but that's a plus since my baby is on the taller side. The cover can be removed and washed which is necessary for keeping it clean. There are even mesh pockets along one side for convenient holding of burp cloths or a bottle. The other side has a cloth handle for easy carrying and the entire thing is fairly lightweight. I've been using this all around the house and it's really convenient‰ÛÓI hated having to move the rocker from room to room. The lounger itself is super comfortable and has raised edges to keep the baby in place. I wish I had an adult sized one for myself! ilo makes some great products.
My son was born 12/4/18 at 36 weeks and weighed 5lbs 13oz. At first the hospital didn't want him having a paci due to him being a preemie. They said it could cause nipple confusion (he's breastfed) and could cause problems with his suck/swallow/breathing reflex due to his gestation. We ended up having to give him a paci but the hospital ones were too big for his face and he constantly spit it out. I tried this one and he took to it right away. He has not had any nipple confusion and it actually helped his suck reflex. They stay in his mouth and are just the right size. I highly recommend these pacifiers. MiMi is even buying him some for her house.
My 18 month old is really rough on sippy cups and we have tried EVERY cup out there. They would all leak when the liquid becomes room temp, or when thrown and were impossible to clean. But I took a chance on this one and it doesn't disappoint! It does NOT leak at all!!! Finally! The best part? It's so easy to clean, there's nowhere for mold or hunk to hide and no special bottle brushes required. Save yourself from trying to find a better cup because there isn't one! I won't use anything else now!
I was really excited to get these cups, because my son, who is almost 2, loves cups with straws. However, he has a really hard time sucking out of them. Overall, I was a bit disappointed.
After trying and trying l, I couldn't not get my 2 month old to take to this bottle BUT I think he is just accustomed to his usual cheap-o brand. I wish I would have started this bottle from birth because I have so many problems with the parents choice bottles falling apart and giving baby tummy aches; such a shame that I can't reason with him! The nipple on this bottle is shaped more like an actual breast with a tiny vent that is actually ON the nipple so that any trapped air can escape and not fill baby's tummy. The bottle itself is a gender neutral teal and well made with thicker plastic. You can just look at them and tell that they are a high quality item. They have this rubbery ""sleeve"" for grip which is an awesome idea because I'm usually trying to do things for my other littles while feeding and I have lost my grip and dropped the bottle countless times... then of course it's dirty and I have to resantize and baby is MAD. This would be the perfect bottle to transition a breast feeder to a bottle but my little man was bottle from birth. If we add any new babies to the mix I will definitely start them with these bottles!
